Pirtek raises funds for the Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. The new neurosciences unit focuses on turning research into treatments for patients with different diseases. Utilising a multi-disciplinary approach, the Unit’s research program involves an array of new techniques in the fields of neurobiology, stem cell biology, neuroimmunology, neurovirology and neuropsychology to discover new knowledge.

Pirtek Fishing Challenge

2013 will be the fifth consecutive year that Pirtek hosts Australia’s biggest national fishing competition, the “Pirtek Fishing Challenge”. It’s open to everyone in each State and Territory across the country. The aim of the Fishing Challenge is to raise funds and awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).
