Area Sales Manager Brisbane

The Pirtek Group is an international success story specialising in mobile “on site” service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings utilising a franchise business system as our service and delivery model. Furthermore, Pirtek provide products to large OEM clients based throughout Australia via the Group Office manufacturing facilities based at Kings Park, NSW and Mackay, QLD.

Purpose of Position

We are seeking the appointment of an Area Sales Manager based in Brisbane to increase market share through growth in order to achieve budgeted sales targets, profit objectives, sales execution standards and leading edge customer service. This includes selling directly to large OEM manufacturers throughout a diverse range of industries within Queensland.

The role demands exceptional but subtle levels of negotiation in addition to excellent communication skills as you will be working alongside franchise business owners. This role goes beyond traditional product selling and offers an additional level of challenge and diversity.

Objectives

You will personally manage large volume accounts as well as targeting and generating new business to ensure our companies objectives and sales targets are met. Your ability to interact with key stake holders across the business is critical to your success, these are customers, franchise owners and internal staff.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished and versatile business manager with a proven record of solution selling. Your ideal background will be direct selling within an industrial market such as mining, automotive parts/products, bolts/bearings, engineered products or related industries. You have a passion for consultative selling, and thrive on selling concepts and products to multiple level buyers. No doubt your communication skills are exceptional.

The successful candidate will have:

• exceptional negotiation
• ability to develop and maintain productive relationships within a franchise environment.
• subtle yet assertive selling skills
• at least 5 years commercial sales experience in multiple product selling
• energy, passion and enthusiasm simply are part of your daily nature.
