Inner Liner
Seamless NBR (Nitrile) rubber. Oil resistant
Outer Cover
Black smooth synthetic rubber resistant to abrasion/oils/ozone and weathering
Reinforcement
Two braids of high tensile steel wire
Application
Medium to high pressure hose for hydraulic fluids such as mineral oils/aqueous emulsions/water/air and inert gases. Outer cover must be pin-pricked if hose is to be used to convey air or gas above 17 bar.
Materials and Specifications
- -40 degrees C up to +100 degrees C mineral oil
- -40 degrees C up to +60 degrees C water based fluids
- 0 degrees C up to +60 degrees C water
- 0 degrees C up to +50 degrees C air
- -40 degrees C up to +70 degrees C ambient
- Prolonged usage with water or water based fluids at temperatures above 60 degrees C will allow wire corrosion as a result of diffusion through the inner liner
