Inner Liner
Extruded virgin seamless smooth bore PTFE (Teflon®)

Application
Medium pressure non-contaminating hose for use with a broad range of chemical resistance. It is inert to most commercial chemicals/acids/alcohols/coolants/elastomers/petroleum products/solvents/vinyls/synthetic lubricants/hydraulic fluids/steam and compressed air. Not suitable for cold and hot (including steam) cycling as can cause the tube to crack. Inner liner is non-conductive - do not use with high velocity fluids and gases. A conductive tubed PTFE hose product is necessary.

Materials and Specifications

  • For safety the working pressure should be reduced at temperatures above +120 degrees C: +121 degrees C to +200 degrees C - 85 percent of the W.P
  • +201 degrees C up to +230 degrees C - 80 percent of the W.P

Features

  • Withstands continuous flexing/vibration or impulse.
  • Easy to clean and sterilize and absorbs no moisture hot or cold.
  • High flow rates with low coefficient of friction and anti-stick properties.
  • PTFE hose resists deterioration and is impervious to weather with a long life expectancy when applied within its temperature and pressure ratings.

Specifications/Performance
Minimum bend radius quoted is based on static applications - for dynamic applications multiply the bend radius by 1.25. Meets or exceeds the performance specification of SAE 100R14A.

Notes
Use of an internal support coil for hoses -6 and larger is recommended for tube support where continuous or extended service at high temperature together with low or negative pressure is expected.
