Application
Silicone Sealant. All applications where a non-sag sealant of exceptional longevity is required to bond glass, metals, ceramics, wood stone etc. IASIL eliminates leakage, reduces noise, absorbs vibration, seals and bonds parts into a secure unit.

Useful Hint
Where surfaces require only a single sided bond, it is possible to treat the side not requiring adhesion with a release agent or simply apply petroleum jelly or oil. When cured torque up the parts to form a compressive seal.

Properties
Cure rate is 3mm in 24 hours but is humidity and temperature dependant. The rate of cure can be accelerated by increasing the temperature (70 degrees C max.) and increasing the humidity levels

Procedure for Application
Product is normally hand applied from the cartridge. Ensure parts are clean, dry and free from oil and grease. Full cure in 72 hours

Cured Performance
Full Cure Time: 72 hours maximum. Tensile Strength: 2 N/mm2 - 300psi. Hardness: 34 Shore A. Elongation: 450%

Resin: Polydimethyl Siloxane. Colour: Black Cure Speed: Skin 15 mins. Cure Speed: 3mm in 24 hours. Shelf Life: 9-12 months unopened. Specific Gravity: 1.25 @ 250 degrees C.
