Technical Sales Representative Elizabeth

Pirtek Elizabeth requires a motivated and enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join their team as a Technical Sales Representative (TSR).

The Role

As the Technical Sales Rep (TSR) you will be maintaining existing accounts within the territory of the branch and targeting new customers in line with our growth strategy. You will be expected to coordinate your activities to ensure sales budgets are met in consultation with the Centre Manager as well as developing, building, and maintaining relationships with customers, both new and existing. This position will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.

People that have succeeded in this role have been from a trade or engineering background with an in-depth technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, are able to communicate effectively, and have a natural ability to solve problems.

You

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a similar position, with experience within the Hydraulics industry being highly regarded.

• A track record in successful selling, achieving KPIs and territory management.

• The ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

• A strong understanding of and commitment to faultless customer service

• Strong verbal and written communication and numerical skills

• Proficient Computer systems knowledge and have good literacy and numeracy skills.

• A team player attitude and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.

• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical drawings would be advantageous.

• The ability to think on your feet and solve problems under pressure

• Current drivers’ licence (Essential)

As the successful candidate you will be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle and other items required to undertake this role, plus full product, and job training.
