2021 Pirtek Fishing Challenge Registrations Now Open

The 2021 Pirtek Fishing Challenge event is warming up as registrations are now open. 

The goal of the annual Pirtek Fishing Challenge is to help raise funds and awareness for the Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit at the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, as well as the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Now in its 13th year, the Pirtek Fishing Challenge has raised over $1.2 million for charity to date. The 2021 event sees some major changes with the main one being a change from the traditional 1-day event in mid-March to a 2-day event on the 17th and 18th of April.

The Challenge is also offering a record $240,000 in cash and prizes for simply registering and for on-the-water fishing.

This year there are 22 target species covering all States and Territories across Australia, both freshwater and saltwater.
