Pirtek Fluid Systems Australia announces Franchisee of the Year

Pirtek Fluid Systems has announced the National & State based franchisee awards at their recent Gala dinner during the bi-annual national conference held in Sydney last week.

Attended by franchisees from the 96 locations around Australia, there was much anticipation as MC for the night, Australian motor racing identity & Supercars Hall of Famer Neil Crompton introduced the finalists.

The awards recognise excellence in service, performance & presentation across all areas of the business.

Presented by CEO Stephen Dutton, the National Franchisee of the Year award was won by the husband & wife team of Malcolm & Tracey Willis of Pirtek Singleton.

Malcolm and Tracey took over the Singleton franchise in 2011 and this is their second win as franchise owners.

Malcolm said their success was due to the dedication, hours of work and commitment from the entire Singleton team.

Malcolm got involved in the business in the 1990s, just when the mining industry was starting to kick off and after a short break, was asked to return to manage the Singleton arm of the business in 1995. In 2008 Malcolm and Tracey became partners in the business & in 2011 they bought the franchise & haven’t looked back.

Other winners announced on the night were the State finalists:

• NSW Franchise of the Year Winner – Singleton

• VIC/TAS Franchise of the Year Winner – Bendigo

• QLD Franchise of the Year Winner – Blackwater
o Runner Up - Wacol
• WA/SA/NT Franchise of the Year Winner – Adelaide
o Runner Up - Welshpool

There were also several Service awards with two franchisees achieving 30 years tenure:

• Barry & Deborah Johnson North Sydney
• Kilian & Fran Grabowski Townsville
